Sunpillar Sunrise With Pancake Ice

This set of photos is from on board the Bristol Bay ice breaker as it was clearing a path out of the ice for shipping traffic on Lake Saint Clair. Pictures were taken on February 6, 2014. The captain said the ice has only been this dense one other time in the past 30 years. March photo of the month.
