Gripped Structure!

Final picture, too close for comfort. August 2001, A dominant supercell in central South Dakota crosses our path. This picture showes the meso rotating sheets of wind and rain across the interstate. The bottom of the wall cloud appears to be molded by fingers as if it was an upside down clay pot. The storm put down the only tornado of the day and a couple gustnadoes.
